Aggravated burglaries in Victoria have surged since 2018 — and the past year has been the worst yet. Armed offenders are breaking into more homes, and current laws leave families vulnerable.
Right now in Victoria, you must prove your actions were “necessary” and “proportionate.” If the intruder hasn’t threatened you, you might not be protected — even if they’re smashing their way in.
In the UK, the law protects homeowners, only prohibiting force that is “grossly disproportionate.”
It’s time Victoria caught up.
David has a plan — to reform our laws so you can defend your home without fear of prosecution. Because your home is your castle.

Community Summit
Australia is facing a growing crisis fuelled by the illicit tobacco trade. In recent years, there have been more than 200 arson attacks, four murders—including the tragic death of an innocent woman—and over $5 billion flowing directly into the hands of organised crime.
It’s clear that Australia’s current approach has failed. Real solutions are urgently needed.
On Sunday, March 16th, David Limbrick hosted a Community Summit at the Victorian Parliament to discuss the escalating black market in tobacco, how government policy has contributed to the problem, and what real reforms could look like.
The summit featured expert speakers who explored why Australia has uniquely—and spectacularly—failed in this area, and how other countries have successfully tackled the illicit tobacco trade.
